EPISODE 32

To some, the early nineties were a horrible time for music. Well, actually, for many.
But some had the luck to be born such that tunes from this era would become indelibly etched on their souls. And some of them are pretty alright. Here, then, is our tribute to all that was big from 1990-95. Gnarly.

[And yes, if you're wondering, Tyler got the date wrong; it is the 8th. We have not switched to the Julian calendar.]

Glad to hear ASR is back after the hiatus! Mike was a great addition to the cast. Would appreciate more of his impersonations, though!!

The episode's final song by No Doubt reminded me of your former plans to do a show on "Cover Songs". No Doubt did a good job of the hit by Talk Talk, entitled "It's My Life". Hope you haven't given up on the idea.

Oh, the sound of your voices make me smile!
According to my research (this shall be my catchphrase), "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?" is an south Appalachian folk song from the 1870s that was originally called "In the Pines".
Tyler, your transitions are awkwardly seamless.
"This Is How We Do It"- inextricably tied to horrible Grade Six talent shows where people just lean backwards and then spring back up by their palms. Too awful for words. I think Awkward Silences should pay for my now-needed therapy.
Then again, the memory of my singing "Sabotage" playing Rock Band with TW and AB might send Tyler straight into therapy.
..I was fortunate to hear the Just For Laughs gags tale in person about an hour after it occurred. Good story. Much better when you get the mock-up facial expressions.
I think one of the best words to describe Bob Saget on America's Funniest Home Videos would be "simpering", a loathsome adjective at best.
...is next week going to be a 1996-2000 episode? If so, I have a visual I would like to contribute.
These are two songs I hope you do not play: Are You Jimmy Ray? and I Could Never Be Your Woman.

Have a lovely week to the three most glorious Podcast DJs (... how about we call you PJs? That sounds comfortable) I know.

Cheers!
