S02 E05: Getting Wiser

Greetings!
Normally, here you'd find some sort of introductory paragraph outlining the content of this week's episode, usually in an overly perspicacious fashion and coming across as a sorry attempt to sound "hip". That's all well and good, but today is Tyler's birthday, so instead, here is a picture of him at age 5:

Rock on, man-child, rock on.

Hey PJs.

Rest assured, I have been a happy listener of "Awkward Silences Radio Show" for the past few weeks. I just haven't had much to say, especially about Lost. I have only recently developed an interest in the existence of this Lost business last week and I find myself mostly entirely confused all of the time as a consequence.

Alissa, you have such a lovely singing voice! What a pretty "Happy Birthday"! (I called to sing to TW, and it was a much more haphazard singing on my part. After I had pretended to be a loan shark.)

I know "How Buildings Learn"! I read it with you one time on the train between Kingston and Montreal.

"It's very architectural"??? That's like saying a song "is so musical".

Another Alissa compliment: I always like the music you choose for the show. It broadens my listening horizons every week. (Don't worry TW, I like your taste in music, too, obviously. And when there is a Tyler song on Awkward Silences, it is always very heartwarming and youish.) I am not, however, looking forward to the upcoming "Party in the USA". Is that really necessary? Answer: No.
Technical question for you PJs. How come some weeks when I click on the show it opens on my media player (=good) and other times it plays from quicktime on my browser (=bad)? I can't pause it in quick time, so if the phone rings or whatever and I need to stop it, I lose my place and have to start all over which is exceedingly annoying. (And possibly accounts for an extra one or two of your listeners, unfortunately.)
In any case, you lost me at about 3/4 of the way through. But it was very enjoyable until that point.
Happy Birthday, TW. T'es dans mon coeur, aujourd'hui comme toujours. May 27 be glorious, my friend.

Good evening, Roz and Frazier:

Totally agree with Otherwise Known as "Miss". There should be more of Alissa's singing and Tyler's imitations on each and every episode.

Had not heard the Feist/Gibbard duet before - excellent.

Are you going to do anything special on the Olympics over the next couple of weeks?

Great discussions on the status of projects in Hamilton, Montreal and Vancouver. Learned a lot and appreciated your balanced journalism.

Since your show, I have watched the subsequent episode of LOST. It seems to be getting increasingly complicated, rather than clarifying?? I must have missed an entire season of episodes somewhere along the line.

All the best,

Brutus
