If I may say, I never cease to be amazed how well our episodes turn out even when we start off thinking they are going to be the worst ones yet.

Kudos Tyler.

I think that we really should be thanking a potent cocktail of denial, delusion, and low personal standards, but you're welcome, Golden. Go us!

Hey PJs,... a little slow on the uptake over here,... but today I am home sick on the couch and catching up on my absence.

I've been to New York City four times since 9-11, most recently just last week, and it really is interesting to note the changes in how the city seems to relate to itself and its iconic buildings. When I went with my Mom a few years back, she had never been to NYC and so we took a few bus tours. At that time, the tour guides had a much more patriotic bent-- the Statue of Liberty, the WTC site, Tiles for America, etc. had such prominence. And when I was there last week these sites were barely mentioned at all. Alyssa (my little sister) and I went to Ground Zero,... the Peace Tower is going up and is just barely visible above ground but the work site is completely barricaded. You can't see anything at all and we didn't really see anyone stopping to look at the site.

I don't know where I was going with this.

...talk about an awkward transition from talking about September 11th to the reggae beats of "Red Red Wine". I like it.

I just looked up the Family Matters theme songs,... and I have a grammatical question regarding the lyrics. "As days go by, it's the bigger love of the family." WHAT IS? There is no subject in the damn sentence.

Tyler, we have discussed this: Mellow Yellow is one of those "I'm Going to Kill You" songs, in manner of the end of the acoustic version of Hey Ya. It gives me a *bad feeling*, as it were.

OH NO! Guess what? I just went and looked at Levar Burton's Twitter page and HE WAS IN MONTREAL AT SIR WINSTON'S ON SATURDAY NIGHT. I listened to this that little bit too late to let you know. =Sadness.

...I forgot about the existence of this Dishwalla song. ...I like it.

Thanks for playing Colorblind. Love that song.

Now I shall listen to this week.
