S02 E11: Going Overboard

Remember last week? When you gave us a mound of disparate topics and music to weave together? Well, we were worried about fitting it all in, but we did, mostly, and wouldn't you know it if we didn't end right on the one-hour mark.

Well, this week was one of those We're-both-kind-of-tired-and-can't-think-of-anything-to-talk-about kind of weeks. So we set a few extra music tracks aside. You can check the length: yep, that's right... it's becoming a general rule that we always go over in these circumstances. Our inconsistency = your benefit: 25% more show. Not that anyone's ever asked us to talk more...

Anyway, enjoy!

Sometimes the most interesting and entertaining episodes are those in which you two just start exploring subjects out of the blue!

I've always found it a bit of a stretch to believe that some people may hold extra sensory perception. This, even though Hurley is one of my favourite characters on LOST, and Sixth Sense is one of my favourite movies. Just the same I find it intriguing that the police do use known telepaths to locate bodies, with mind-boggling success. And why is it that just about everyone can tell when they're being watched, even when they are looking the other way?

What is it with North America? So advanced in so many ways, yet a backwater when it comes to simple things, like the use of bicycles for transportation. It is so puzzling, since the families of so many Canadians and Americans originate from Europe and Asia, where cycling is commonplace, and encouraged.

For the record, I liked Alyssa's rebuttal: She called on Carl to deliver the weather report! Brilliant!!

LOST was off the charts this week. Richard has become a key character, spanning all eras on the island. What a story. And the original man in black going up against Jacob! Loved it.

Until next week,
Thanks!!!

Hey, I know htey've eluded to this before but do you think that the guys at The Office are really trying to show you how similar Michael and Jim are? Jim may just be a bad manager but a great salesman....hmmm.
