S02 E18: White Mothers' Day

Frankly, I would think an episode of Awkward Silences that uses TWO images of Betty White in its post needn't a text description: you should have already developed a rug burn on your pointer finger from clicking the link in such a hurry to sample the Mothers' Day-sized awesomeness within. I may be biased, mind you. Enjoy!

LOST: Alyssa is on to something! As Locke passes in and out of consciousness he may be darting between the hospital and the island. Makes some sense, where all around is nonsense! Hopefully it will come clearer in the final few episodes.

As for the helicopter delivery of food, you may have missed the slogan on the side: "Mr. Cluck's Chicken Shack: We deliver!"

BETTY WHITE: You mentioned some of her credits, but many of us (well at least me) remember her fondly in the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

BALLBOUT???: I do not believe I have ever run across this term. In your next show would you kindly describe what it is for the layperson? What does it accomplish in terms of traffic control?

ENVIRONMENTAL NGO's: Cannot live with them. Cannot live without them. Too many now are big businesses themselves and the only way they seem to know how to drive contributions is through embellishment, exaggeration, and far too often bald-faced lies. It's the Chicken Little Principle. Too bad. Many have lost credibility because of this. It is situation similar to the U.K. University that was caught fudging results on the topic of global warming. They must figure the ends justify the means, however I find it tarnishes the scientific community and verges on the despicable. Who can you believe (if not chemists)??

Good evening,
