S02 E19: The Right Click

In what seems to be a theme developing here, this week's episode focuses on what's wrong with a host of problems plaguing the planet. Not that anyone asked us; we're just really helpful. Unless you're suicidal... best not listen. So, everyone but Tom, enjoy!

Thank you hosts of ASR.

Great trumpet in the Cure piece.

Regarding privacy issues, it scares me to think what might happen to young people who are so much at ease with posting personal things on the web, that they may get easily burned by rivals, enemies and criminals. In fact, it happens all too regularly. It may actually be a blessing to be a little gun-shy of these new technologies. By the way, here's my universal access code: 4 8 15 16 23 42!

Alyssa was on the mark with her comment that the enjoyment derived from LOST has been in the mysteries that turned up around every corner. Watching past episodes may tie up loose ends, but will never offer the same, edge-of-the-seat suspense and intrigue. As for the ending, it will likely be outlandish. Ever since the island starting moving around with the turn of a dial the plot has been really far fetched. At least we are able to understand why things happened, and I am glad it is not being left a completely open-ended mystery. There will be some closure (I think). Perhaps Mr. Eko will decipher that magical six-figured code!

A couple of more ditties that you may enjoy, in addition to my previous recommendation of Jets Overhead (No Nations). Please check out Tegan and Sara (Red Belt), and Wintersleep (New Inheritors).

Have a wonderful long weekend,

Brutus

p.s. I likely all special effects (e.g. thunder). Easy on the canned laughter though!
