S02 E34: The Robbie Ford Horror Show

Whatever the case, we here at Awkward Silences have dreamt up a fantasy world of hope and joy for you this week. Allow yourselves to be transported to the land of faeries and gumdrops, as we explore the enchanting world of... municipal politics. Enjoy!

What a jolly fellow. (Picture taken after consuming an orphan.)

Excellent show, as always! Alissa, you'd been wondering about what parts of Toronto the Ford vote had come from; Torontoist has a couple of good maps here. Basically, you're right on the money - suburbs went for Ford, the old city (plus part of East York) went for Smitherman.

1. Very funny episode name
2. Like the spoof rem track haha
3. I think you will need to play some Gaga for your 2000's music episode yaaay!

Sorry for the tardy reply. Been on the move.

I happened to be listening to the radio when Mayor-elect Ford was chatting on his cell phone while coaching his son's soccer team. It was very strange.

As for the ear worms of the decade my vote goes to:

No, not "Bootylicious", but...

"Say it Right" (Nelly Furtado and Timbaland). I could not get it out of my head.

Can hardly wait to see your picks,

Brutus
