Dear Host of ASR:

Another episode of tremendous diversity.

Your conversation about creativity through collaboration got me thinking about some of the most renowned individuals of all time. Did Leanardo DaVinci seek advice on his inventions and art? Was Einstein a team player?

Unfortunately, you were both spot on with your views about desensitization. After hearing daily about accidents, tragedies and wars over the years, it is sad to say that it numbs you. You can feel empathy on occasion, yet at the same time feel helpless to help.

On a brighter note, I am really looking forward to the next episode where you will feature office music. Not much help here. After three decades of office work, I have yet to work in a place where motivational ditties were pumped over the intercom. Some staff would listened to their own favourites at the work stations - but quietly. Bring on David Seville and the Chipmunks!

À la prochaine,

Brutus
