Alissa and Tyler:

Amid the background honks, rings, and screams this was Awkward Silences Radio at its best. Congratulations on the 100th episode - have enjoyed each and every one!

It was great to hear you both reminiscing about past episodes, and what you have both gained through the process.

I've always liked the musical themes - even the earwigs!

Thank you!!

Music Request to ASR:

Buried by the Blues, by Black Mountain.

Intriguing lyrics, great harmony.

Thanks for considering this request,
Brutus

The Laurier Barbecue incident just goes to prove that Tyler can get access to any edifice when wielding his pocket watch.

Liked the selection of music. I had not heard the Big Rock Candy Mountain since childhood - we had the 45 rpm record at home.

As for movies: After seeing the original Planet of the Apes when it came out in the sixties, I was leery of the new release, Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I was pleasantly surprised by the sequel. The original was a ground-breaking movie due to the incredible make-up and masks at that time.

Taking care of one house is enough. Perhaps a cottage on Lac Azur will be a retirement project some day.

Glad to hear you discussing urban planning issues again - I always learn something new.

What a shame about Mr. Jack Layton. He was one of the good ones; an honest politician!

All the best,

Brutus
