I JUST HEARD THE WORST/MOST ASININE CHRISTMAS SONG EVER RECORDED. Worse than Feliz Navidad. It's worse than the Christmas Conga. Even worse than Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime.
Its called "It's Christmas Time Again" by some dude named Bill Jardine. You have to hear this. It is quite simply the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Not a word of a lie.MissWitczakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11642971541663953059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-440587638565682021.post-21738329735435716542009-12-15T22:58:36.048-05:002009-12-15T22:58:36.048-05:00Thanks for the updates on global warming as we hea...Thanks for the updates on global warming as we head for the deep freeze.

In terms of Christmas favourites, I like some of the classics the best. "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" from the Charlie Brown Christmas Special was great. As a kid I appreciated PigPen's clouds of dust released at the start of each stanza.

Personally, despite the drug scandals, and overhype, I enjoy watching the olympics. There are plenty of athletes that still live the true spirit of the games. I would love to carry the torch!

Looking forward to next week!

BrutusBrutushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07171414294906929314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-440587638565682021.post-11520162011574122662009-12-13T22:31:23.408-05:002009-12-13T22:31:23.408-05:00Hey PJs...
Hope you're having a Holly Jolly e...Hey PJs...

Hope you're having a Holly Jolly evening. (...it works. Sort of.)

...So it's bothering me. I have to look it up in "A Glossary of Literary Terms". Holly Jolly. It is an internal rhyme, because it occurs within the verse line, ("Have a holly jolly Christmas") like in Swinburn's Itylus: "Sister, my sister, O fleet sweet swallow." It is also a double rhyme, because both syllables rhyme. ... Now we all know. ("Alliteration" didn't sound entirely wrong to me, actually, Alyssa.)

"Blue Christmas" by Elvis is a horrible song. That's all I have to say about that.

Ty, that Tiger Woods "Just Do It" joke is essentially the worst joke I have ever heard. I didn't even groan.

Those Krampus things are terrifying. I'm glad we don't believe in them here.

Mom says to tell you that her feelings are very hurt that you think "I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas" is a bad song. She told me this morning that she used to have the record of it and listened to it nonstop. The flipside of the album was "I'm Getting Nuthin' for Christmas", another WINNER that wasn't played last week.

HINTERLAND WHO'S WHO! I haven't thought of that for ages. That is the nature thing you were talking about and Tyler whistled the theme to.

My school carried the Olympic torch last Thursday! I was very proud of the kids. That being said, that's enough now with the press coverage. The torch relay is the new H1N1.

... I don't like the Bruce Springsteen song, either. But I did like the Pogues.

YAY! Next week's episode sounds great.

Have a lovely week!

KMissWitczakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11642971541663953059noreply@blogger.com
