It even beat the Gilligan's Island Theme ("Just sit right back, and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful ship,...")

Your musical reviews and overviews are great fun! Oh, the guilty pleasures are back! This m...Hey PJs!
Oh, the guilty pleasures are back! This makes me glad, in a cringeworthy kind of way.

And by THE MOST HORRIBLE SONG IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD, I mean "The Littlest Hobo Theme Song". Just sitting here listening to it makes me want to crawl under the desk and rock back and forth in the fetal position. "That's hobo style"?! COME ON. Ughhhhhh.

Speaking of hobos,... I just came across a quote of the day in my journal from a few months back that I thought I would share with you. It was something one of my students wrote in an assignment:

"What is wrong with them? This way of life is too strange for me or even anyone else... well, unless you're a hobo then that would be paradise. That's the only positive side."

HA! Classic.

Oh, D'Arcy... providing angsty teenage girls rolemodeldom via "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" album art since 1995. ("There was something so poignant about the découpage...")

Alright, I will share some HONEST guilty pleasures.

The Winner Takes It All- ABBA
Don't Matter- Akon
More, More, More- Andrea True Connection
Drinking in L.A- Bran Van 3000
If I Could Turn Back Time- Cher
Jar of Hearts- Christina Perri

...yielded from a brief alphabetical search through my media player. And that's just A-C. I suspect the really bad ones are lurking further down.

...is loving showtunes a guilty pleasure?

Agh, have to go clean my apartment. Will do so to the tune of "I Love You Always Forever".

Cheers!

KMissWitczakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11642971541663953059noreply@blogger.com
