It seems more and more likely that there was some meddling on the part of the current gov't. Though, I have a feeling that many ppl are now seeing the defeated Moussavi as a hero and savior. Though, he may be 'Moderate and Prgoressive' this is likely only in relation to the current gov't who, as you guys pointed out, does not have the most liberal views... (oh and Alissa, it's not that he doesn't like homosexuals, they just don't have that 'problem' in Iran like we do in the West...). Ultimately, though, it is the Ayatollah Komeihni who has the final word on all gov't decisions, so as long as he is in power, how much change can actually happen?

Alissa, your thoughts on Canada possibly needing to beef up our army to protect our resources is something I never really thought about. That's a bit scary but a very realistic possibility to consider, so thanks for that insight!

I've never really seen more than a few minutes of Canada's Worst Handyman but it's been coming up a lot lately, maybe I'll have to check that out.

Anyway, great show and very much looking forward to the next 7! After that, I dont know...I'll get back to you.Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12056938648562296000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-440587638565682021.post-12669518652886324592009-06-17T06:56:52.932-04:002009-06-17T06:56:52.932-04:00Thanks Brutus!

XXI was the most entertaining episode yet.

I literally had tears of laughter (yes Tyler, literally) through a stretch on the topic of "Canada's Worst Handyman". From Alissa's indignant, "Well I never"... to Tyler's trombone raspberry,... then on to Alissa's comment about the use of a pneumatic nail gun, and finally Tyler's mention of the six-month old from Regina who ended up winning the competition. I was particularly impressed that you both were able to keep your composure throughout. HI-larious.

Also enjoyed the POGO song, which I had never heard before.

Yes, Alissa, the segues were awe-inspiring. And to think that until Episode 1 of ASRS, I thought a "seque" was a guy named David who once played first base for the Expos.

Thanks, and have a great week,

BrutusBrutushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07171414294906929314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-440587638565682021.post-59752223907738443992009-06-15T11:39:37.564-04:002009-06-15T11:39:37.564-04:00Speaking of segues...
