Off to a roaring start in 2012. Like your idea of reviewing movies. It would help listeners decide if a film is worth seeing. However, please do not give too much of the plot away!
I have not seen the North American version of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, but loved the trilogy that was released in Sweden with English subtitles just a few years ago. The Immigrant Song would suit the story just fine!
Heard another interesting tune on CBC the other day: Change the Sheets by Kathleen Edwards. (I apologize if you have already aired it previously.)

Enjoyed the show. I listened to two one after another so forgive me if some of the comments refer to another broadcast. BTW, Alissa has a wonderful radio voice and Tyler, you shouldn't have been on the air with that cold. At least you should have tried some Ouzo. Good for what ails you. Loved the comment about this being the most "recent" season (or was it "newest"). You said it with such glee I wasn't sure if was intentional or drug/cold induced. Also enjoyed all the talk about pulled pork and crock pots. Tyler, I bet at the time you didn't know that you were getting a crock pot soon.....
